Where does the tour start?
Have questions? Here's the most frequently asked.
→ WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EVENING AND DAY TOUR IN THE MILE END?
Both tours are amazing in their own way. We offer both tours to make it easier for guests to add our food tour into their schedule. The Mile End Food Tour (daytime) is longer and invites guests into the historic Rialto theatre, Lawrence butcher that features locally-raised meat, and a few other hidden gems. The Evening Mile End Tour invites guests to experience the Mile End’s urban evening culture when the streets come alive. This tour is shorter, but still incorporates all the delicious food stops that’ll leave you full and satisfied. We even throw in a craft beer sample to kick-off your evening!
→ WHAT ARE YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR AFTER THE TOUR?
If you enjoyed the craft beer on the tour, we recommend going to the microbreweries Dieu du Ciel or Siboire which are great breweries with a huge variety of craft beer. If you happen to still be hungry after our tour (which never happens!), Lawrence restaurant is a favourite local restaurant and offers locally sourced meat and produce. For those who want go dancing later on, Datcha is a quaint venue with great electronic music.
→ IS THE TOUR FAMILY-FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! This tour is shorter than our other tours, making it easier for children to stay entertained. Children love the variety of food (especially the ice cream), all the fun facts about the Mile End, and the animated tour guide. However, they won’t be receiving the craft beer we offer!
